My passport made it to Washington, D.C. and I've emailed off all the necessary paperwork (that I know of anyway)...so now it's just me and learning the languages left to do, oh and packing again...lol April 23rd can't get here fast enough!
Just saw your comment about going to Georgia on April 23 - I'm waiting for my invitation to arrive in the mail, but in the phone call last week, I was told that staging was April 23 and I will be going to the Caucasus region....so, I'm assuming that I'll be going to Georgia! I'm 57, from Southern Calif and I'm hoping I can survive the winters in Georgia.
Wonderful! If you are on Facebook there is a site called G12 Peace Corps Georgia. Check it out. I was wondering who the other over 40 person was. I know of a married couple going, they are 67. They are from PA. I too am hoping to survive the winters. I have purchased lots of winter clothes. Friend me on FB and we can chat sometime.
